Position Summary

The Department of Psychology at Roosevelt University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology, Behavioral Neuroscience, or Biopsychology, to begin August 2017. Qualifications include a doctorate in one of these subfields of psychology. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in the biological bases of behavior in addition to graduate psychology courses, mentor student research, and maintain a productive research program. The ability to contribute to multiple programs in the department is valued.

The Department of Psychology at Roosevelt University includes a large undergraduate program, Clinical Master’s programs, an APA accredited PsyD program, and MA and PhD programs in I/O Psychology.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

For Neuropsychologists: A Ph.D. or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program.

An APA-accredited internship.

Licensed or license-eligible in the State of Illinois for Clinical Neuropsychologists only.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Neuropsychology, Behavioral Neuroscience, or Biopsychology.

Preferred Qualifications
Equipment Operated

Basic office/ classroom equipment (desktop computer, laptop, overhead projector, office copier).

Working Conditions

Traditional classroom and general office environment and any off-site work requirements.
